Center punches are drop forged, heat treated, quenched and tempered carbon steel construction. Available in 3/32 in, 5/32 in, 3/16 in, 1/4 in and 3/8 in point sizes. These are special purpose hand tools with a cutting point designed for marking or starting holes in metal or other material softer that itself when struck with a hammer.
