Flanged packing gland seals prevent bulk material leaks, which reduces product loss, contamination and bearing failure. This seal consists of an external housing and an internal gland which is forced into the housing to compress the packing. It is the most positive type shaft seal and recommended for use where minor pressure requirements are desired.
