Browning® Classical V-Belts are designed to deliver maximum performance and service life. Classical belts feature single wrap design, which provides greater flexibility when using small diameter sheaves. Classical single wrap V-Belts also have less fabric overlap, which reduces center distance variation and vibration. For energy conscious users, our AX/BX molded notched/cogged V-Belts are up to 3% more efficient than the wrapped designs. Additionally, they are offered in all standard sizes.
Browning® GripBelt® Super V-Belt, Non-Cogged, A Section, 1/2 in Top Width, 71.22 in Outside Length, 5/16 in Thickness, 1 Rib, 230 deg F, Neoprene, Synthetic Fiber Reinforced
- Static conducting
- Single fabric design allows greater flexibility
- Wrapped belts are more tolerant to slipping and misalignment than raw edge belts
- Close belt tolerance - Browning® belts offer the "Code 1" match belt system on all classical and "358" belts allowing easy selection of just one match number for each belt size
- High tensile cord-specially treated cords to provide strength and additional flex life while providing resistance to elongation for the belt
- Unique design enhances performance and provides increased horsepower capacity in a shorter center drive
- Reduced overlap provides lower vibration and reduced noise during operation
- High strength, synthetic fiber cords carry the horsepower load and minimize stretching
- Incorporates Browning Split Taper Bushing - The only bushing system that provides a true Key-to-Key drive to both the shaft and the hub
- Sheaves are Statically Balanced - All sheaves are statically balanced to assure smooth, vibration free performance
- Close Grain Cast iron - Close grain cast iron allows Browning to machine our sheaves to the closest tolerances possible
- Wrapped construction - Provides smooth quiet operation
