- Ball and lead screws must be lubricated to operate properly and achieve the rated life
- The TriGEL® grease can be applied directly to the screw threads near the root of the ball track
- Screw may require lubrication frequently depending on both environmental and operating conditions
- If the lubricant appears to be dispersed before this point or has become dry or crusted, the maintenance interval should be more frequent
- Before adding additional grease, wipe the screw clean, removing the old grease and any particulate contamination seen on the screw
